Fischetti Takes Borough Council Seat

Duane Fischetti is sworn to office by Mayor Michael McPartland during a special Borough Council session on Thursday, Aug. 27, to fill the unexpired term of David Jordan, who resigned last month for health reasons.  Holding the Bible for Mrs. Fischetti are granddaughter Ali, grandson Ryan and son Robert.  Mrs. Fischetti served on the Board of Education for 20 years, first as a bookkeeper and then as secretary to the board.  She will stand for election in the November general election.  Mrs. Fischetti, a native of New York City, has been a resident of the borough for 23 years.
