Wednesday, Dec. 24th — Open House @ the Edgewater Free Public Library The library is excited to welcome residents, patrons and non-patrons alike, to enjoy the holiday season between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM. Come meet the staff members, pick up flyers, calendars and enjoy home-made holiday foods.
Outstanding Fines up to $50.00 will be waived the week of Dec. 22nd through Dec. 31st!

Tue, Dec 9 from 6:30-9 pm: “Adult Classic Movie & Discussion”: “Fight Club”
Fight Club is a 1999 film based on the 1996 novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk. The film was directed by David Fincher and stars Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, and Helena Bonham Carter. An insomniac office worker looking for a way to change his life crosses paths with a devil-may-care soap maker and they form an underground fight club that evolves into something much, much more…

Roventini CPA Join Philip Roventini for this informative seminar covering current tax rates, Medicare Surtex, Long term Capital Gains, Estate Tax Rates and Affordable Care Act. This seminar will teach you some reliable and efficient solutions for accounting and tax issuses.

Mon, Dec 15 from 7-9 pm: “Adult Movie Series Presents: “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
Guardians of the Galaxy is a 2014 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film was directed by James Gunn, who wrote the screenplay, and features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio del Toro. In Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill forms an uneasy alliance with a group of extraterrestrial misfits who are on the run after stealing a coveted orb.
Tue, Dec 16 from 7-8 pm: Here’s to Your Health and Benefits of Walking” Seminar presented by Maryanne Christiano Mistretta
Maryanne Christiano-Mistretta is an award-winning journalist, author and public speaker with a great passion for health and nutrition. She’s the former editor of NJ Health & Fitness magazine and had a health column called “Here’s to Your Health” that was published online. Her work was also published in Skinny News magazine.

Mon, Dec 22 from 7-9 pm: Adult Movie Series Presents: “The Hundred Foot Journey”.

The Hundred-Foot Journey is a 2014 American comedy-drama film directed by Lasse Hallström from a screenplay written by Steven Knight, adapted from Richard C. Morais’ 2010 novel The Hundred-Foot Journey. The film stars Helen Mirren, Om Puri, Manish Dayal and Charlotte Le Bon and tells the story of a feud between two adjacent restaurants; one operated by a recently relocated Indian family and the other managed by a Michelin-starred French chef (Mirren).
