Edgewater Remembers 9/11

Mayor James Delaney speaking in a memorial address to a small gathering to observe the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. The mayor said the attack “brought us all closer together. I knew we would recover from it. The world should never doubt America’s resilience.”


A wreath is placed in from of the Borough Hall by Police Sgt, Tom Breen, Fire Chief Patrick Chevalier and First Aid Squad Capt. Kathy Frato to mark the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the United States. The invocation was offered by Deacon Michael Lydon of Holy Rosary R.C. Church.
